May is Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and it is fitting that we learn from Amy Tan about her culture and heritage as we all seek to learn from other peoples from all backgrounds as Explorers. Mt. Everest Doctor and TEC Awardee* Dr. Ken Kamler FR'84 will introduce his long-time friend Amy Tan and author, photographer and all-around Explorer Kim Frank FN'18 will join us as part of our panel to discuss the film, Amy Tan's life, the process of writing and other topics of interest. We hope you can view this documentary on PBS's Live Streaming Service before Tuesday's program, but the session will be valuable with or without a prior viewing of this documentary, which is available at no cost to view until May 17th.
